The following information is not intended to disuade anyone from utilizing below reviewed companies, but rather to give the consumer viable options without requiring you to call everyone available to fulfill your desires.

All information provided below is the very same information you would acquire if you took the time to call everyone listed below as of 15 May 2008

First on the research list:

Benita's house cleaning, (LAS VEGAS)

Fees:

For first and one-time cleanings:  They charge an hourly fee of $25.00 per hour for each cleaner.

There is a minimum of $75.00 that provides up to 1 hour and 30 minutes of service time with 2 cleaners.

LVPHD's fees:

Yes we charge more than that.  $45.00 per hour. BEFORE ANY DISCOUNTS!  We have NO MINIMUM!  If it takes us 1 hour and 30 minutes to DETAIL your home, you will receive a charge of $67.50!  That is regardless if we have one or THREE detailers in your home!  You just saved $7.50, and with us your home was ORGANICALLY DETAILED!

As you can see, cheaper is not always cheaper!  One only needs to do the math and read the fine print!

Back to Bonita's house cleaning website...

Scheduling:

They confirm your schedule time within 2 hours of arrival, due to the fact they don't know how long they will be at their prior house.

LVPHD's Scheduling:

We will call you the DAY PRIOR to your scheduled DETAIL date to verify that we both are still on track.

Yes there is always that possibility that we get tied up with unexpected events at the prior client's home, but we will call you to notify you of the delay.  If you wish, we will deduct a prorated amount from your detail due to the delay, or even reschedule our appointment, depending on the length of the delay time involved.

Cancellation Policy:

Once you have scheduled your appointment they require a minimum of 2 days notice in order to cancel, if no notice is given they will charge you a cancellation fee of $75.00

LVPHD's cancellation policy:

You may cancel at any time.  Even at the door.  Of course that will not make us happy, but things happen.  However, we will be forced to charge you a grand total of $0.00 for cancelling EVEN AT THE DOOR!!!

So if you booked with us for a 1 hour and 30 minute ORGANIC DETAIL and decide to cancel at the door, you just saved $75.00!

New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving day (and the day after), Christmas day.

Pink Ladies cleaning.  (Las Vegas).

This information was obtained via telephone conversation.

I must say that the woman I spoke with was very courteous over the phone.  A major plus to start with.  I will not mention her name due to privacy matters, but all the info I give you here is a matter of public record.

Other than the fact that she was very friendly, They use only ONE "NON-TOXIC" cleaning component.

She told me that this one "NON-TOXIC" component can not clean everything, such as mold in a shower.  In this case they would have to resort to something stronger.

She also told me that they have a $90.00 minimum fee.

Another good thing is she informed me that they have, like us, NO cancellation policy.  Unless of course it becomes a habbit with the same customer.  I agree with her.

COMPARISON:

My initial conversation with her was plesant.  In my opinion, they sound nice and courteous.  But let's now look at the $'s and verbiage...

They have only ONE "NON-TOXIC" product they use.  If you have mold, this product is not sufficient.

"Non-toxic" only means "not poisonous".  Does that mean not poisonous to humans, animals, children?  It does not mean ORGANIC, and does not necessarilly imply safe.  Now I don't know if it is or not, as she was reluctant to tell me what it was or from where thy attained it.

We will give you our source of cleaning materials.  I will even give you they're website's.

Almost ALL of our cleaning supplies are ORGANIC.  Some we use are NON-TOXIC, and very few are your normal chemicals.  I can honestly say that we have not used any "chemicals" on any home in the past two years.  We just have some in reserve for those who are "ANTI-ORGANIC".  Yes, believe it or not, there are some people out there who would rather not live as nature has laid out we should.  We are currently working on acquiring suppliers of ORGANIC supplies for ALL purpouses.

THE KICKER!:

They have a $90.00 MINIMUM!!!!

Book with them and you pay $90.00.  Remember, if your home takes 1.5 hours to clean, (the usual average of a monthly contract and not the average of the initial DETAIL which usually takes 2-5 hours), We charge you $67.50.  So if you booked with LVPHD, you just saved $22.50!

Oh yes, one more thing...

Nobody I've talked to yet even has a concept, let alone mention, the ability to DETAIL YOUR HOME!  They only talk about "cleaning your house".  Big difference.

Currently researching:

MERRY MAIDS.  Christina use to work for this organization.  She states the following:

They do NOT use organic cleaning materials.  They were very courteous.  They were very expensive.  They underpaid their cleaners, starting at $8.00+ per hour.  They required them to use their own vehicles and they were not uniformed. 

They HAD a NO REFUND policy.

Christina worked for this organization in 2003.

Further research is upcoming.

ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS.   Preliminary results are not good.  So far, from my initial contact via voice mail, it's taken 3 days for them to respond via email.  I currently asked for ino via email and as of yet they refuse to provide me requested inormation.

WE WILL NOT REPLACE BACTERIA AND GERMS WITH CHEMICALS!
